A film that dramatizes the Escape of the 28, a mass escape of 28 enslaved people that traveled up Hamilton Avenue en route through Cincinnati to the north, will be shown at the Cincinnati Art Museum on March 18th. The filmmaker, Charles Campbell, will be there to talk about the film. Members of the Hamilton Avenue Road to Freedom committee assisted with local research and providing support for the filming crew and actors.
There will be two screenings, at 5 and 7 p.m.
